Mon Premier is French for my first.  This name is derived from two sources - it is my first wine, made for my first love and better half. Fermented in 80% new French oak (FF VTG M+TH) on the lees.  The use of batonnage in primary and secondary fermentation imparts a creamy mouth feel.  While the new oak imparts vanilla bean and notes of savory spices.  Finally, malolactic fermentation increases the richness and imparts a creamy buttery finish.  I sincerely hope that this wine reflects my passion in life and for all life's firsts.  Laissez le bons temps rouler.
